Fisher Canned Food Drive-Fisher Flyers Rock!

Fisher students collected cans and non-perishable food items to donate to the Goodfellows' Association.  When Goodfellows came to collect the food on Friday, Dec. 9th, they were flabbergasted at the amount of food we had collected.  It took them 3 trips to get all of the food transported.  We donated more food than 4 other schools combined.  The Goodfellows' Association said that all students should be proud of what they did to help SO many families.

Some fun facts:
  • 2, 587 cans and boxes of food were collected!
  • The classroom winners were:  Mr. Martin's 4th grade class - 360 cans; Mrs. Cunningham's 1st grade class - 250 cans.  In 2nd place were:  Mrs. Vermiglio's 5th grade class - 250 cans; Mrs. Liptow's 2nd grade class - 210 cans.
