South Redford School District's policy has always been that schools will remain in session if at all possible during bad weather. Changes in the published school day schedule will be made rarely and only when extreme weather conditions develop that could be detrimental to the health and safety of students and staff.
Should it be necessary to close South Redford Schools due to weather conditions parents and guardians can check the District web site, Cable 10 station or check the following radio and television stations for broadcasts regarding school closings. The South Redford School District will send an automated phone message to parents and guardians should schools be closed for inclement weather.
