Welcome to Thurston High School
The Eagle Way:
Come To School Prepared:  Show up to school with a positive attitude toward self, others, school, and learning.  Be prepared with all necessary homework and supplies.
Be On Time:  Attend school regularly and be on time for all classes.
Work Hard:  Be cooperative and accept responsibility for your own actions and effort.  Seek help from parents and staff and take advantage of Flex opportunities.
Failure is NOT an Option:  At Thurston, student failure is an unacceptable option.  This age in which we live no longer affords adequate opportunity to students who are ill prepared.

Students will also sample for aquatic invertebrates which can be used as an indirect measure of stream health.  Students will directly participate in all monitoring activities, giving them first-hand experience carrying out real scientific techniques.
